Sun in Sagittarius 2025 Sidereal Astrology Guidance

The planets and stars are always talking to us, and this season they seem to be saying:

Embrace adventure if you want to live an adventurous life.

That is to say: this season we are called to put our physical money where our spiritual mouths are by living in alignment with the truths we've come to call our own.

These truths will vary from person to person, and the more we each align ourselves with our own personal truths, the easier it will be to reunite with our soul's family in this Great Re-shifting we seem to be entering.

Successfully integrating this radical way of life hinges upon being aware of our soul's sacred truths. The energy of this time is presenting us with situations that will illuminate to us clearly what is truthful for us and what is false.

The questions is: will we be open enough to believe it?

The Sun

On December 16, 2025, the sun will enter Sagittarius.

Here, "he" will remain until January 15th, giving us an entire month of fiery, jovial energy.

Jupiter, or Jove, as he was also called, is the ruler of Sagittarius. Thus, when the sun enters this feisty sign, he is influenced by all things jovial. I picture the sun being picked up by Jupiter in a glistening sports car; Jupiter rolls down the window and offers one word:

Wanna?

That is the theme of Sagittarius season 2025/2026 for me: receiving the invitation to want.

We don't have to know how we are going to procure the grand desires of our hearts, we simply must claim them to be successful in this time.

Depending on other aspects of your chart and your general constitution, you may feel a pushback energetically when you move in the direction of your true desires. Feelings of unworthiness can arise and your task is not to run from them but to confront and clear them.

You are worthy of all that you desire.

This month, you must believe this unequivocally.

As the sun rules our conscious identities, we may be feeling a little more adventurous with him hanging out in Sagittarius, especially for those of us with fire and air sun signs.

Earth signs may feel a quickening in the energies around them; leaning into this and flowing with the energies instead of dragging their heels in the sand will help them utilize this season best.

Water signs may feel the heat rise in their intuitive bodies, giving them the feeling that their intuitive senses are "on fire." This season is the time for water signs to own the bigness of their emotions and let their emotional body inform all of their actions and decision-making at this time.

Regardless of our primary element, all of us will be receiving a dose of divine masculine fire as the sun travels through Sagittarius this season. This will provide uplifting, activating energy that encourages us to move forward in the direction of our dreams.
