*The* Indigenous People's Day Special
What a difference a year makes.
A year ago, I was in the wrong apartment, the wrong job, and if I hadn't endeavored to make a change, I would have been on the path to living the wrong life for me.

But, then again...is there ever truly a wrong path?
Back in 2020, when my spiritual awakening aligned with my sister, Freedom's, she taught me about the principle santosha.
Santosha is a saskrit word that essentially means contentment or satisfaction.
Interestingly enough, as a Generator in Human Design, my signature feeling to know I'm in alignment is satisfaction. It is santosha.
How Free explained another layer of santosha to me is that means accepting that everything is right in the present moment. Thus, we can say santosha is the satisfaction we acquire as a byproduct of trusting in the Universe and truly believing that all is well right now.
We would call out "santosha" when we were ready to forgive ourselves--and each other.

I feel I lived in santosha today.
Friday, October 9, 2026: set up day for Handcrafted Octoberfest!

Booth blueprint at home versus on the (fair)ground!

I left everything set up like that and tomorrow I leave my Airbnb bright and early to maximize on the set-up time.
Because Handcrafted came handed to me from the heavens, I only had a few weeks to prepare. Thus, I have a good amount of purses and accessories, but not a crazy amount that would take me a great deal of time to set up.
This will be my first market where I truly enjoy morning-of set up.
How do I know this?
Because I'm calling in santosha, allowing myself to experience the bliss of surrendrance.
I'm vlogging the Handcrafted Octoberfest journey and a few moments ago, I was telling my Chapter Members that I am surprised to find residual feelings of guilt for going far away from home and daring to enjoy myself this weekend.
I realize now that one of the early childhood programmings I've held onto has been hive mentality, where if one of us is suffering, we all must suffer, too.
I want to be happy even if there are those around me who aren't.
Happiness is my karmic inheritance; it is a birthright all are given yet few have claimed.
I claim santosha today.
Carnage
My airbnb is a top-floor barn apartment on a horse farm. I'm on top of the horses and--as you can see--it's given me an abundance of company.
This Airbnb has also allowed me to walk up to a beautiful chestnut stallion and offer him my hand.
Oh my gods, that horse is beautiful.
I told my Chappie Membies, he makes me affirm that I want a horse!

I have this picture saved to my motherhood board on Pinterest; it's my dream to have ponies for my babies *star eyes*!
To think our ancestors rode horses like we drive cars invokes in me the deepest resepect. Full size horses are huge, power-full animals.
It is an honest to goodness shame they seldom run wild anymore.
Recording this special last October is a firm demarcator can point to in my own journey of rewilding through total soul remembrance.
And you know what/who else has been a clear turning point in my life?
(Chappie Membies say it with me:) A*!!
And the A* Collection debuts tomorrow at Handcrafted Octoberfest; I am so excited!

Here's my banner *star eyes* :)
Wish me luck!
XO,
Spirit
